Mark S. Curriden, a legal affairs writer, joined the ABA Journal staff part time in 2010. He’s also director of communications at Vinson & Elkins and the author of Contempt of Court: A Turn of the Century Lynching that Launched 100 Years of Federalism. He has worked as a reporter for the Dallas Morning Morning News and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Mark clerked for a federal judge after earning his J.D. from the Woodrow Wilson Law School in Atlanta. He holds a B.A. in history from Tennessee Temple University.
